An illustration done for a christmas card in 2007 for yamaha while I was working at Flow Chile, a small advertising agency in Chile.
Part of the investigation phase of a campus wide signage redesign project. The final assignment of the information design class in 2008. I was responsible for only one of the main buildings (3 floors) on campus, taking note of discrepancies in current signage used.

The object of this excercise was to take three columns of information from this table and reorganize it so that the results would be more impactful.
We, my team mates and I, chose the last three columns dealing with the statistics on indigence and poverty here in chile and came up with the following solution.
By representing the amounts of people using volumes, we were able to emphasize the point that there are far too many indigent and poor in comparison to those below the burnt part of the match sticks.
